📈 Analysis: How Have High 5-Figure Sites From Motion Invest Performed After 1 Year?

Check out the Google spreadsheet analysis and raw data here

We reviewed a sample of 20 Motion Invest 5-figure listings from 2021 (priced from $51K to $97K) to see how they performed after one year. We compared the AHREFs organic traffic at the time of listing with 1 year after the listing date.

1 year after the listing date, 6 sites had a traffic increase of at least 50% and 10 sites had a traffic decrease of at least 50%. 6 sites had a traffic decrease of over 80%.

3 sites had a traffic increase of over 100% and 3 sites had a traffic decrease of over 97%.

Some sites had a traffic decline after one year. 6 sites from this sample currently have less than 100 organic traffic (according to AHREFs).

With half of the sites in our sample losing at least half of their organic traffic after one year, the risk of a significant loss can be high with 5-figure sites sold on marketplaces.

Since marketplaces typically provide a limited review of site quality, we recommend conducting thorough due diligence to identify red flags and risk factors when considering the purchase of a high 5-figure site.
